Have finished reading this book a long ago but am destined to write and share a review now.
Straightaway coming to the point, this book makes you realize the fact that becoming rich has nothing to do with the bank balance you have, it’s all about the mindset you carry. Here you can clearly learn how a poor person’s mindset keeps him poor and a rich person’s mindset brings him lots of money and keeps him rich.
Understanding the concepts like You working for money vs Money working for you, Four quadrants in the finance world, The Prominence of financial literacy, Benefits of developing asset columns, Understanding how cash flows in a poor, middle class and rich person’s life, etc.. is truly eye-opening and changes your perspective towards how you look at your finances.
Unfortunately, we all assume that our learning process is over as soon as we get a college degree into our hands. But in reality, there is so much more to learn in life after we get out of college. The author states that becoming rich demands continuous learning in life if you seriously wanna progress ahead in your life. And it applies to every part of our lives, not just finances.
One of the parts to be appreciated is that the author addresses the major obstacles we face on the way to our success that we need to overcome like fear, cynicism, procrastination, arrogance and bad habits. He also provides tips to get started emphasizing on our innate powers.
At last, what I personally loved in this book is the author’s conversations with his rich dad. They truly change our perception towards understanding money and the role it plays in our lives. I recommend this book as a must-read as everyone deserves to acquire this basic knowledge on personal finance management in order to welcome abundance into their lives.
