Compassion is the base, root and foundation of love.
Compassion is the original quality of the soul which connects you with the feminine nature (irrespective of gender) within.
Being compassionate with ourselves allows us to be gentle with ourselves. Thereby you start understanding yourself in a better way. There is a need to know and understand ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Once you understand yourself, you will automatically learn to be compassionate with the people around you.
This time you won’t judge someone for what they are and what they do. You will accept and understand who they are. Thereby you will get to know them in a deeper level which in turn develops a bond between the two of you.
Being compassionate with ourselves and others gives rise to healthy relationships in our lives. Motherhood is respected for its compassion and love. Why because compassion is not just being generous and kind, it can also act as a protection to our emotions and our relationships with our dear ones.
It will also protect us from toxic and consuming relationships. Being compassionate with others makes you a favourite buddy to the people around you. Being compassionate with yourself will never allow others to harm you. So, never think that being compassionate makes you weak. Be gentle with yourself and nurture yourself with compassion and love.
